Puppy / Dog Contract

Please read this very carefully

Congratulations on the purchase of your new puppy!!! Here at Thunder Hill large Breeds our mission is to produce puppies of superior quality to fulfill the pleasures of the most discerning pet owner. Your new puppy has been bred and reared with the utmost Love and Care to every detail. We work hard from the time they are born until they leave our home to ensure that each puppy is developed as an individual and love to be with people yet, well mannered. Each puppy is handled multiple times every day and in every way to make this possible.

The puppy is believed to be in good health but you are strongly advised to take the puppy to your licensed veterinary for a general health check within four days of purchase. This check and any test or examinations associated with it must be at your expense. A copy of the vet exam must be sent to breeder within 2 weeks of receiving puppy or this contract is null and void. No exceptions! Failure to have an examination means that you accept the puppy as healthy and fulfilling all your expectations.
If your licensed veterinary finds any problems which, in his opinion, render the puppy unfit for sale, I will take the puppy back and replace the puppy for another puppy, if available. If another puppy is not available then replacement puppy will be provided in the next litter on condition that the puppy is returned within seven days of purchase and is in the same state of health as when it was sold.
Seller does not guarantee against hypoglycemia or any other common health issues such as diarrhea, wormy stool, coccidiosis, ear mites, external parasites, and stress due to shipping or new environment.
The seller can not be held responsible for any distress caused to you and your family by return of the puppy and under no circumstances are refunds made. Buyer assumes all financial cost of puppy once buyer takes possession of puppy.
Breeder makes no guarantee as to size, color, quality or breeding capabilities of this puppy. This is sold strictly as a companion. We do require a $200. non-refundable deposit to hold a puppy of your choice.
The buyer will not use the puppy / dog for fighting or any other illegal activities.
The buyer will not turn the puppy /dog over to a shelter / rescue group for any reason.
The puppy / dog is declared to be in a life threatening condition by a practicing licensed veterinarian within 4 days of buyer obtaining physical possession of named puppy / dog and a written report by D.V.M. is submitted to seller.
If the puppy / dog dies within4 days , you must have followed your veterinarians advice and have a necropsy performed (at buyers expense), by a state lab and provide seller a copy of the report.
Seller is responsible for all congenital defects of puppies up to age one (1) year; hip dysplasia, deafness, heart murmur. Seller is not responsible for any health/conformation defects later than one (1) year of age, regardless whether buyer contacts seller. If a hereditary problem is found within the first 12 month, the buyer may return the puppy / dog at buyers expense for another puppy / dog of equal value.
There is no oral representation or warranties not contained herein. This contract of sale contains the entire agreement between the two parties. This contract is solely between named seller and named buyer.

By accepting the puppy / dog the buyer has read and agrees to the above contract.
